Hey guys just looking for any information on unit 6. I got lucky and drew my bull tag but haven't spent much time in the area. Did some scouting this last weekend and a had a little success but any information would be awesome. I found a few decent spots but nothing great. I plan on making 2-3 more trips before the season so any info would be much appreciated. Thank you

Talk to the elk hunters in their camps. They will be your best intel

What Lou said. Bull moose tags are extremely rare...and other hunters will almost jump at the chance to help. It was a group of antelope hunters that put me in the general vicinity of my WY bull back in 2013. They even helped me quarter and haul the bull to my truck! I was hunting solo in a foot+ of snow....so that was a huge blessing!

In my case, all the elk hunters were seeing the big bulls. They gladly shared their info.

Coming fast! Hopefully you can scare that bull across the road. Maybe put a heads up decoy on the back of your truck and drive him over.

Scouting has been rough, all the bulls I've seen have been much smaller than the one pictured. I've got another scouting trip planned and some cameras set up. Hopefully I can get find a shooter

Howdy, I've spent a fair amount of time in the unit chasing elk and have run across some nice bulls. I was mostly accessing the state forest via Michigan lake side. There are several willow bottoms throughout the area and they hold moose. I've also watched them graze across open hillsides from the camp outside of Gould. Not sure if you can even get in that part of the country due to the fire or not. Hopefully your able to access some good areas. There are some nice one's in the unit , Best of luck ! Brett

You can access Unit 6 anywhere you want - from the Wyoming line all the way down to Gould. Shouldnt be any reason you cant go find a moose. I was there yesterday

Thanks Brett, I've spent a few days in the park but haven't spotted any bulls there yet. I'm trying to get there this weekend for some more scouting. Cnelk I've spotted a few bulls in the unit they have just been small. I've hit everything from top to bottom in the unit
