Elk with tire around neck in CO
Video of a bull elk in Arapahoe-Roosevelt National Forest near Conifer has tire around neck.
Saw that. Must have done it before the headgear started growing.
It must not be a Good Year for him.
Spare me....but on a more serious note....it would be interesting to see the tire ends up with his sheds (if he isn't tagged during the season)….or if he still carries it around his head and neck after the antlers are gone.

Must have seen one of his buddies take a frontal shot last fall. “Oh hell no fellas”.
Hard to believe he couldn’t get it off before his horns grew too big.
Broadside only, somebody take him !
Man that’s a nice BF Goodrich tire that will make a nice spare .
I’ve got a bit of the “Dunlop” disease...but it’s not around my neck!
I can skin around that....
Not sure if I would leave that on the shoulder mount or not.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry about this one. You can see in the video that the tire has rubbed all the hair off the top of his neck. Eventually, it will probably develop an open sore, and potentially get infected. I hope wildlife officials are able to find him.
Must be a democrat, Goodyear pissed off TRUMP :)
Well hopefully someone will let the air out of him with a broad head and put him flat on the ground.
If that happens, he’ll only be flat on one side.
I'm also wondering if you would use the "Michelin Man" as a decoy?
Hes just being safe.....;^)
He'll have to tread lightly through the woods this fall.
This tread is making tracks!
Thanks for the link,
Most guys carry their spare around their waist.
That made our local news here in KY
Winter's coming, hope it's a snow tire.
Guess he’ll be rutting in despair.
He's just showing off his bling...8^)
