My baits were doing well up until 2 days ago. It is amazing to see a bait with 8 legal bears in one night go to 1 bear 48 hours later. The acorns and corn fields are powerful forces to compete against. Season opens September 9th so things can still change.

Welcome to bear hunting in WI. Like stated above, we have had same bears coming all summer and then suddenly acorns start to fall and the bears migrate into the oak flats. We thought we would fool them this time and set our baits in the oaks from the beginning......All it takes is one!!!!!
