Sad story for sure. Condolences to the family.

I’ve tussled with a wounded bull. Did not think I would survive the ordeal. Never had a worse beating in my life. Not something I would wish on anyone!

Sad story indeed and prayers for the family.

Any animal can be very dangerous to approach, especially when wounded and hurting. Be careful!

Yes, l learned 40 years ago that any animal can be dangerous when I was almost hooked by a 4x4 mule deer that l had arrowed. I don't know if he meant to but he knocked me down as he lunged at me from brush above me but went down 20 yards away.

So sad. Trailing any wounded animal must be done with utmost care.

I was launched by a yearling whitetail as I was stepping on its neck to cut the throat. My buddy shot it poorly in the head, neck, we thought all its strength was gone. Still remember this one from 30 years ago.
