Hotshot Vapor 3 release

Just ordered a Hotshot Vapor 3 hand held. Anybody shoot with one of these? I shoot a Carter chocolate release right now and love it except that it is noisy when shot. Noisy enough that I don't want to try it hunting for fear the deer jumping the string at the sound of it, which is louder than my bow going off. Is the Hotshot as quiet as they say?

The Hot Shot Vapor will be quiet but it's not even a close comparison to the Carter as far as performance. The Vapor is a direct linkage release and the Carter's all have sears. The crispness of the Carter's will be significantly better.
As far as noise....it is so much a non issue it's not worth even mentioning. You will have no issue animals jumping the string due to noise.

That's what I love about my Carter releases, hand held and wrist(RX2). The crispness of the trigger is as good as some of my rifles. Guess I'll see when I get the Hotshot. Thnx Bowfreak!

Like Bowfreak said, double sear is the only way to go.
