Two of my buddies and I, are flying into Anchorage next Monday to hunt moose at Bob Ameen's cabin at Lisa Lake. Can anyone give me an updates or tips on the current Covid testing requirements for Alaska? Thanks for the help!

I don't know the exact rules but my father in law just got back from fishing up there. No problems. Still need a positive test...I want to say within 72 hours but I can't remember. Someone else will I'm sure confirm or deny that timeline. Point being.....you should be fine as long as you don't have the virus. Odds are good you don't! Have a great hunt and keep us posted. What a blast that will be!!

I just returned from a family trip on Friday and the process was pretty easy. Look up the portal to where you enter all of your information and get that done before you arrive to ANC. Make sure you get your test taken within the 72 hours of your first flight departing and you will be just fine. Have fun!

As Scott pointed out, get tested within 72 hours of your flight departing your hometown. Fill out the traveler declaration form online before leaving. Arrive with results on phone or printed out (if still pending results bring proof of being tested and they will ask for address of where you intend to quarantine until results post (bobs address would suffice, you can still head to the cabin without an address for your “quarantine” hunt.
