What outfitter would you elk hunt with if you were going in 2021 and had never killed an elk?

Besides killing a elk what is important to you? Horsebacking in and sleeping in tent, or stay in a real bed such as a lodge or cabin? Physically harder the better or something more moderate? Higher opportunity to be on lots of elk or do you prefer a better chance for bigger elk? Do you have a budget you are willing to spend?

What’s your budget. I assume you no preference points in any state? JohnMC has some good questions.

Your question is like asking what’s the best car. Give us more and you’ll get some good advice here.

Nobody better than Guy Flynn at Montana Elk and Trout. I have hunted with him for 10yrs now shot plenty of bulls. Feel free to DM me for more information.

I have hunted elk in Montana 1 time DIY and missed a rag horn. I diy deer in Wyoming and find myself around elk and really, really want to experience bugling bulls with a tag. Im young and I like to earn things so roughing is usually half of my adventure. I have 5 WY points, 2 in Montana and 5 in Colorado. Budget wise I want to be under $7000.
