Missouri breaks report

Anyone hunt the breaks this season with any luck? From what I have been seeing on forecast is hot and dry. Reports I have heard is no elk around and left after 3 days. I know the elk are somewhere and always scratch my head at a reports that left after 3 tough days. I’m headed to Breaks On Sunday

Lots of elk and lots of hunters (probably too many permits issued)
They’ve been bumped around quite a bit into safe havens and hard to reach corners.....keep that in mind and cover lots of country every day u til you find them.

Thanks. I knew tag and elk numbers going into it. Covering ground is my usual means of success. Not used to units with so many roads.
