Live from NY its opening day!
So we prepare for the first morning hunt. Drslyr has a severe case of Montezumas revenge.
Arrived yesterday and pulled some cards. The food plot that was eaton to the ground has multiple bucks and deer in it all night. There are several videos of 8 pts actually fighting in it. Right up to yesterday night. I will be trying to hunt a stand 400 yds from that food plot from the saddle. Tryna catch those deer on their way back to bed. The neighboring property has gone up for sale and there has been an offer put on it not by us. Wonder what thats gonna bring?

Up in the saddle. All went fairly well. Fumbled a bit with the ratchet strap on the fourth arm 3.0 . Finished just in time to barely see. Im 400 yds from the food plot. Gonna try some rattling after watching all those bucks fight. Full on fights not just sparring!

So no deer were seen by either of us on the morning hunt. I will be hanging over the food plot tonight. I did see about 40 turkeys though. Well only apprx. 89.5 days left to hunt!

Dont know spike this is my first hang overlooking the foodplot that got ate up. 2 nights ago an 8 and 9 were fighting here... not sparing outright bashing heads

Im in Ny 30 miles from the pa border...... opening day bust for me saw nuttin. Pal saw 200 lb black bear... no shot..... try again tomorrow
