Was in my treestand (hunting) last week when I looked down at my bow and noticed something................
Looks like your cable slide is missing Perry...
I am not going to say it.
Everything is on the wrong side? ;-)
LOL! Hey, LEFTY's are people too! : ) But that's not it. Ronnie got it right off the bat!
I knew you guys would get it pretty quickly!
2 days before the hunt I noticed some erratic flight of arrows in practice. I made slight adjustments to my sight but couldn’t seem to pinpoint the problem. Funny how sometimes the problem is right there staring at you but you don’t see it! ;-)
I didn’t put 2 and 2 together until I was in my stand and noticed the cables pushing against the vane on my arrow- then it all made sense!
Luckily I was able to borrow one from my buddy’s backup bow.
You need a better string.
Yeah, I’m overdue for a new string. Should have done it in the offseason................
second picture peep looks sideways?
It looks like severe fletching contact even with the cable slide. I always tried to keep the fletching from hitting cables.
I thought someone would say, whisker Biscuit
It’s a Mathews? Yeah I’d get rid of that quick!
Post this on the Leatherwall and see how many things they come up with:)
Could use a slight waxing Daniel son.
I was looking for a rattlesnake wrapped on a limb or something... ;)
STILL - very glad you are ok man. Enjoy the hunting!
LOL! Thanks Will- I’m enjoying every sunrise the Good Lord gives me now...................especially the ones from 20’ up in a tree! : )
It is Bou, but it squares up at full draw.
green mountain- that’s just the camera angle in the second pic- no vane contact with the cable slider!
Not a Mathews Spike- it’s a Darton! ;-)
Good eye Knife2sharp!
LOL Guys- I just replaced the insert in the biscuit! : )
Darton nice. Not too many out there and they are great bows. I happen to have a dealer not too far away.
Looks like your kisser button is upside down.
"LOL! Hey, LEFTY's are people too! : )"
People say that about gingers as well, but really?
Some would say your D loop is tied incorrectly.
Some would say your D loop is tied incorrectly.
t-roy and Matt- LOL! : )
How is that, Franklin?
If you look at the twist in your d-loop and the direction of your knot you are imparting torque on the string.....that may be the reason your peep also realigns when you pull back.
I always have the top burnt end out from your face and the bottom in to your face. This is the way most tie their d-loops. Others say it doesn`t matter....just a FYI.
Ok- thanks Franklin. Didn’t know that made a difference.
Someone stole your drop away rest and put a WB on?
You claim to be hunting in PA, but there's not a single mushroom in that picture...
