Last two hours of the day. 78 degrees, slight SW wind. In a ladder stand near a persimmon grove 40 yards off of a 4 acre bean/clover plot. Not expecting much because of the heat.

Total bust. Nada. My apology for not updating, poor service. I could not load pictures.

Wait until next Friday/Saturday - a nice cool down. Highs in 60’s lows in upper 30’s.

Thanks guys.
Here is what the plot of beans/clover looked like. They are the only beans still green any where close by. They were planted July 10th and have received good rain until recently.

My stand view in the woods facing the plot. It was a beautiful evening.

Overlooking my left shoulder, the bow is pointed towards the persimmon grove.

And of course, a boot shot, from a previous hunt that past weekend.

Thank you Scrappy for the well wishes. I was fortunate to fill an anterless tag on 9/19 and started to document that hunt but cell service was even worse in that location. The only half way dependable service is right at the cabin.

When were your beans planted, Frank? Crazy that they’re still totally green.
