Does it grow on it's own? Been thinking of getting some or some of the no plow if I can find some. Would like to make a small plot back in the woods if it will grow on its own.

Usually the small seed will sprout if can make contact with dirt.But it all needs some sun

It's a system, not a seed; Spray gly to kill vegetation. Spread seed. Mow/weed-eat/role/pack... something to knock the dead vegetation down over the seed. Get rain!
I do this with lots of different seed, as small as clovers and as big as pumpkins. Most seed doesn't like living competition, that's why you spray first. Wheat and Winter Rye are very easy using this method.

What Cat said, unless you have lots of hogs, although they can’t pick up the very small seeds. Timing and prep is everything. Good luck !
