Man what a hunt. Ive been watching this guy all year. He was super clever and reluctant to come out in the daylight. I decided to take a shot and sprayed some doe in estrus spray. He showed up with in 30 minutes. My arrow passed through his right shoulder, blew his heart out , and then exited the left shoulder. He ran about 40 yards and jumped in the damn river. He made so much noise i thought for sure he crossed to the opposing bank. I looked and looked but couldnt find him, finally out of my peripheral vision i spotted an antler sticking out of the water. He was incrediby heavy. Lost a good bit of meat due to the damage but man, what a deer.

Hell Yes !
congrats, what broadhead were you using?
I was using The Veteran 100 grain broadhead on a 28.5" Bloodsport hunter with a 100 grain insert.
Great story and deer. You're going to need to change your name to WVDeerFerryer.
