I just got to the family farm in illinois last night. Pulled my bow out to shoot some arrows and my sight housing is moving where the nut connects to my 1st axis adjustment. Everything seems tight except that nut, I went to tighten it down and it moved the whole housing

I've got it back where it needs to be but it still wiggles and I hate that. My shots were not on point. Ill attach a picture to show what im talking about

That nut shouldn't be there. The scope rod screws tight into the windage barrel.

Here’s mine. You might have an older model? Call spot hogg.

My friends have some other spot hoggs and they dont have that nut either, its never given me and issue until now. Ive had it on for probably 3yrs or so

If you want the nut on there Screw the nut tight to the housing then screw the housing tight to the barrel. Loosen the barrel clamp and rotate the scope so you can see thru it.
