My daughter has the bug! She's killed several doe with gun, bow and crossbow but never a buck. She made her mind up she was going to hunt her heart out til she got it done. The past Friday that became a reality. Ive been going through some health issues thats made hunting impossible for me at the moment. Shes taken it upon herself to scout and help hang her own stands. Pretty grown up for a 17 yr old. I couldn't be more proud of her

Shes made her mind up this buck will be her next one or nothing at all. He's been seen twice in daylight hours. Moved her stand a little each time. She is learning the game!

I'm super proud! She's been by my side and sometimes in my pack since before she could walk. I always wondered if she was really paying attention or just daydreaming when I was showing her around. I think I know the answer to that. Shes running 8 trail cams, goes over every little detail and plays the wind like she should. She's the most determined young lady I've ever come across. I have a feeling I'm looking at a taxi bill in the near future. She truly gets excited about hunting!

Lol she loves her camo! When she decided she was serious about hunting this fall I took her to cableas and told her to get what she wanted. If its put to use im all for buying it. She is an accomplished target archer and will be heading off to college on an archery scholarship next fall! She has her list of animals she wants to take in the next few years!
