Adjusting D-Loop To The Peep Sight

This is a FWIW post for those who are getting new strings/cables and are DYI-ers. I just got the new strings and cables put on my bow. I had to get the d-loop and peep to align at full draw. I was trying to figure out how to do it with out goobering up the new string. This link and video offers 4 ways to do it. I used the first method and it worked in my case. All of this may be old news to some of you.

I just press the bow and rotate the string.

I tried that a few times and it didn't work. Either the peep was off at draw or the d-loop was off when not drawn. For me....I got the peep correct them just rotated the d-loop to where I wanted it.

Good strings don't rotate from brace to draw.

Shouldn't have to adjust it.

Tying a tag end on the d loop will prevent moving and 100% keep them aligned.
