Got in about half hour later than I wanted. Setup a little closer to where that buck came in last weekend.

I think someone might be walking the ridge above me. Happened to me last weekend. Just had a doe full steam 40 yards in front of me. She came from the direction I planned on them to and ran right into the bedding area. Now a squirrel is going crazy.

Ok back out to a new location. Never been to this part of the state forest. Did pass 2 ladder stands on the way in. One real close to the road and one about 200 yards from me. Should be plenty of space if the owner sneaks in. Swamp out in front of me fields a few hundred yards behind me. Fingers crossed.

I saw an absolute hammer in pm hunt 80 yards out for a few seconds. My buddy on neighboring property saw him breeding a doe yesterday. He is high, wide and heavy. Will try to get a crack at him tomorrow from a different stand I have in area where he was.
