PA Doe, I shoot only 60 pounds so the 2” steel 125’s work well.

Steven.......Do you know when they first came out? I shot a pile of turkeys with them years ago. I want to say it was in the late 80s, but, might have been in the early 90s.

I think I remember them in that same time frame. My brother in law shot them. Late 80s I thought.

Back yard buck 2019, was really hoping this buck would run a bit after the shot as my 6 month old pups really needed a good track...buck went 40 yards....stinkin broadheads.

Backyard couple weeks ago, another fail for my tracking dogs, stupid broad head only let the doe run 40 yards and then go in 4-5 circles falling over.

Hmmm. Any close up pics of the prototype? I’m going to be shopping for a new mechanical now that mine are made offshore and are definitely of less quality.
I’ve never been a two blade fan. Maybe just in my head and something I should overcome.

"I’ve never been a two blade fan. Maybe just in my head and something I should overcome."
I'll take a 2"+ 2 blade hole over that of a 3 blade with a similar cutting surface all day long. I have never hunted with a 2 blade in the 1-1 1/8" cutting diameter, so I cannot speak to that.

I’ve got a bunch but with my draw weight (60#) the 2” steel in 125 grain are my favorite.

Were Vortex broadheads out of production for a while? Or am I wrong about that? (It happened once before)

I’m interested but how do you practice inquiring mind would like to know Thanks Lewis

Greg, that is correct. I think they were out of production for 3-4 years.

Yes they were out of production for going on 7 years. We recommend practicing with the actual broadhead. We are currently working on a practice head.
