Do you guys find big bucks traveling a certain spot in either direction wind or only in one direction wind? Am I over thinking this or will a buck travel to a doe bedding area in either a S or N wind or only one direction?

I would say any direction and I would also say they normally do not travel directly onto the wind. They seem to like to catch it quartering to them. They circle a doe bedding area and don't normally walk into one, the circle to get to the down wind side. If deer only traveled into the wind they would ne very tough to kill. Shawn

They'd all end up in Lake Superior here. Pretty consistent S to SW wind here during the rut.

I’m with Scooby, but during the rut all bets are off.
