'morning All,
I hope everyone is strong and healthy.
I can't believe it's already mid-December and time for my yearly NER/Jackson Hole recap.
Thanks for taking the time to view All,

Simply Beautiful but damn chilly!
I got my FAV cabin again this December
I really prefer to hunt the South unit as it is for shot range/single shot weapons like bow or muzzy loaders and single shot shotguns.
Not a Dang Elk in sight!!
Apparently, there has been some 'Issue's" getting out to the North end hunting access
It was nice and toasty once I got unloaded back @ the Cabin
Did I ever get some Text response's from this pic I shared
Some of you Bowsiters are pretty dang Comical haha
Once I got settled in, it was a perfect Travel day evening in the Cabin with a nice fire going and 2 1/2 men on TV......
First morning out was bitter cold but some great frosty trees to share a pic.
That's it for this morning, I'll add more later, I've got a real quick turn around before I travel again on this 13th for hunting on the 14th for a different species.
Thanks again for taking the time to view All,
Good luck, Robb
You know I love it there Robb. Enjoy!
Looks like you’re having a blast! Enjoy!
Robb looks like your having a grand time!
Elk Refuge from Snow King
Elk Refuge from Snow King
Good Luck Robb. Beautiful out there, I was there in August with my kids, obviously the elk weren't there. I have to go back out there in the winter some day.
Livin’ large! Enjoy Robb
Thanks for sharing with us peasants.
Good luck Robb and thanks for posting the updates.
Hey Robb, any bison moving over to the Refuge yet, cows specifically?
You going on a hunt or a date with that turtleneck?
Jk have fun out there
Adam I think he already had the date and is hiding the hicky. :)
John beat me to it - hicky cover up for sure. LOL
Have you had any luck talking any snow bunnies into some free skiing lessons yet, Robb??!!
Looks like some beautiful country. Have fun out there!
HaHa----->
PB ~~ I saw nothing on the NER for Buff but these two just across the street from the turn off for Shadow mountain road
A decent Bull and a younger bull
'Santa' brought me an early x-mas gift of a Digi Scoping set-up so I've been toying with it
This Young Bull has his biological clock mixed up, kinda kool watching him lip curling rutting up!
These two about got me and the JP
Paul that is one heck of a Lung and Leg blowout to get to the top of Snow King where your pic was taken!!
I thought I had a bedded Non-Typical Muley buck here in the sagebrush
You don't see a Non-Typical Bull Moose very often......
I spent some time with the Digi Scope set-up looking into some of those remote lil pockets on the very North end of the NER for Buff & Elk.....
I've hiked/hunted a lot of these lil micro draws over the years when I would hunt the North unit of the NER
Those Horseback hunters would cross the Gros Ventre River and get into the NER from the North
The line for Free Ski lessons is getting pretty long so I better call it a morning for pix!! haha
I'll wrap it up manyana before I leave for my next hunt in the morning. Traveling in a dang snow storm is going to suck!!
Thanks for taking the time to view All,
Good luck, Robb
Pretty country Robb, but I’ll stick to summertime in Jackson ! That looks too cold for me.....
That’s a pretty cool looking Moose! Looks a might but cold though.
Nice Photos Robb...Full disclosure, although my kids and I are capable of climbing Snow King, we hopped on the ski lift. We only spent a day in Jackson and got there a little later from YNP, so we wouldn’t have had time to hike it.
How did your motorize one wheeled cart work out during season? Did you like it?
Yes John, ePack did pretty dang good on a couple pack outs.
Back to JH---------.
1 morning it was Real Feel -14 and that dang 'breeze' was brutal
Most of the Sheep seemed to be up high on Miller Butte
No big Rams down yet or so from what I saw anyways
Some elk had migrated over night and they sure leave a wide trail thru the sagebrush and up the hill in the dirt
That's about it for this trip
I just need to shower and some minor Final loading and I'm back out on the road by 0500, for my last hunt of this year.
