Where have I seen the organizational name, ie, Defenders of Wildlife, and the Serra Club before? Oh!, I remember, these two organization plus a few others, were the main supporters of the reintroduction of the gray wolf into Colorado.

Paul absolutely. Funny how the defenders of wildlife want to see elk die of starvation during winter.

They would much rather see elk and deer die of starvation than support hunter enjoyment. Amazing how many posts one sees that implies supplemental feeding cannot increase the carrying capacity of the land. The Wisconsin forum is full of barstool nutritionists.
