Just wondering what your favorite glue for all weather conditions (especially freezing) to use when fletching blazers or AEE to FMJs. I would prefer to not use wraps. Thanks in advance.

I use Aluminums for everything & had a shop/lanes nearly 20 years & made 95% of the arrows going out the door. I "still" build, repair for 8 family members (Aluminum, Carbon & woods). I use Platinum plus fletch tite & b/4 that Fletch-tite. I scuff the bare shaft & glue whatever on. All different vanes & feathers & never had a problem in any kind of weather. Usually shoot the next day as I can build a Dz at a time. I've been bowhunting since 1956 & killed my 1st Deer in 1958.. Works fine on wraps too.

I use fletch tite platinum as well, wraps or no wraps. But I wrap most arrows these days.

Hard to beat Bohning Fletch-tite series. It has proven itself for many years. It’s the product that put Bohning on the map!

Okay thanks.... I tried platinum fletchtite and it’s not sticking to the aluminum, is there something I need to prep the shaft with?

Alcohol for any glue.

I just buff with a fine steel wool, nothing else. Don't touch that area with your fingers/hands. Never had a problem & I have fletched thousands that way.
