Never hunted yotes, do they come to the calling during the day? Or is it sun up and sun down when they are active?

BAT, depends on the dog. Cold and hungry is better than hot and full. Night time works best probably, but some states like CT, don't allow night hunting. Not sure about MA.
No luck Drslyr?

Maybe first thing in the AM and last thing in the PM. I know I've got them early morning during deer season with the bow. I just won't pass up a shot at a fawn killer if they get that close.

Coyote hunting makes deer hunting look like a joke..... Yotes are the smartest animals in da woodz. They RARELY make a mistake. If you shoot and miss thats it.... you never get another chance. I hunted an hr before a dog walker came thru blowing out my spot. In mass in daylight you can use a centerfire rifle or handgun. At night its .22 rimfire only. Coyotes laugh atcha when you chootem with a .22 rimfire. You can hunt till midnight but no lights so unless theres a moon snd snow u b outa luck.

Can use handgun too at night if you really wanted to..... No larger than .38 tho.... might as well just hunt during the day ha
