Just had a shot at a blonde coyote. Missed em at 300 yds. See the pine grove on the top of the far ridge. Thats where he was standing.

22.250 with my own hand loads!..... Follow the ATV trail to the edge of the field. Look in a straight line across the field to the pine point on the other side of the field. There is a single white tree just slightly to the right of the point. The coyote was right at the base of that white tree. Measured the distance with a hunting app.

I shot a few with the coyote loads from my grandfathers 30” browning A5. Further shot was about 65-70 yards. Rolled it dead as a door nail. Saw a guy roll one even further than that with those dead coyote loads. I’m between the .204 ruger or the 300 savage. My fathers takin my 22-250 out with his friends.
