getting warm

Living in the north eastern part of our country I value getting warm after a day's hunt. In the final days of this year's hunting seasons I got to thinking how nice it is. I hunted early bow season and it was cool but nice. Rifle season was a bit cooler but after a day's hunt I returned to camp to find someone had fed the stove so I could bask in the warm camp while we prepared dinner. In late archery season I was on my own. I hunted from home but I came home to a warm house as my wife tends to feed the wood stove in the late afternoon . It feels good. I got to thinking how much this basic feeling is so important but seldom thought about need is so important. With the current state of politics I Hope the new administration realizes how much the military person deserves to feel these comforts .
