I did not get much out of Elk 101. Maybe it depends on what you are looking for, I don’t mean to bash.
I’m an eastern hunter who nas done a couple of guided and unguided western hunts. The units I felt were pretty basic, almost common sense stuff. There are better calling videos on you tube for free.
Again I don’t want to bash.

Get the elk nut app for $5. Read everything in it, use the record your own call feature and it is all you need to know! Seriously, nothing compares and everything else costs more and is complicated, half useless info.

My thoughts were similar to BrentC. I'm from the midwest, and thought the information was basic common sense stuff. I have no experience with no other on-line courses to compare elk101 to.

Elk 101 is a 101 course. Mark Livesay is the advanced course. Both have their place. IMHO.

Be wise on selecting any online elk hunting course. Most of the people offering these courses are doing it for the money. Can't blame them for trying to make a buck! But remember, you can find just about everything they offer for FREE on YouTube.
