34 YR Old Oldest Yellowstone Region BearContributors to this thread:
This bear is the oldest grizzly on record in the Yellowstone Region. He has hardly any teeth left.
Wow. Hard to believe bears from the thorofare region in the 90’s could still be alive. Imagine the griz population in the early 1700’s !!
That would be cool to see a map showing his travels.
Ancient bear...he got the most out of his teeth and life that is for sure!
What a cool animal. Being 170 lbs shows the harsh reality of nature.
Wow, the bottom ones look like whistlers. Wonder if they still tattoo the inside lip to identify?
Interesting. He had a good life.
Not sure which would be worse. Ripped apart by a bear with a full set of teeth, or gummed to death slowly by this Bruin!
Dental implants? Just kidding.
^...who is going to install them? :-)
Ya I can't believe they didn't just give him some teeth and give him another 30 yrs! Wtf?!
Am I the only one who got a bogus virus alert on their phone when they click through that site?
I read the article a few days ago. It only weighed 170 pounds. What a story though.
GF yourself I get that alert each time I click your post. ;)
how many calves / cattle has that bear killed I wonder ?
JL, you made me think of a gorilla in a zoo has covid 19. A friend of mine wondered who had the nerve to swap his nostrils.
