Does anyone have any first-hand experience or knowledge regarding the comparison of the old style round hole model vs. the newer triangle shaped model?
What is the max arrow weight the brushes can effectively handle?

Can't answer the first part of your question, but I'm currently shooting an 840 grain arrow off an old style round biscuit. It handles that weight with no problems.
