Anyone wear Schnee's Beartooth boots?
I'm looking at them for spring turkey, and early bow season.
Pros and cons please.
What do you like/dislike about them.
on my 2nd pair. used for goat, sheep, moose, bear, caribou, deer, turkey. I love them but I need a good bit of support due to an old ankle injury. Perfect in every way !!!
I,don,'t have beartooth but I have had three pairs of Schnees packs over the last 35 yrs and they are the best of their type.
How are these boots as far as being waterproof?
It uses a Sympatex Menbrane.
Unless they have improved sympatex, I would stay away.
I have sweat feet, but never had any evidence of moisture from outside the boot.
That’s a fairly stiff boot for turkeys. Better suited for rough country mule deer and elk. I’ve got a pair and they make a great boot for chukar hunting along with the previously mentioned hunting. I’ve never had an issue with leaks with mine and they’re now several years old.

I love mine. I use them on those colder days when my Lowa's just ain't warm enough. Break-in takes a while but once they loosen up you'll love them. I have not had any issues with leaks.
