December Hunts?

Hello! Hope the off season is treating all of you well. As for me, I'm beginning to plan my out of state trips for the 2021 season. I have a trip planned to bow hunt North Dakota in September that I'm looking forward to. My question is, what are some good diy, public land whitetail/mule deer trips that could be taken in December using any weapon (rifle/muzz/bow). Last year I hunted Nebraska muzzleloader but I'd like to try something different this year. Thanks!

Check out the AZ deer opportunities. I haven't done it personally, but I know there's several on this site that have. Many OTC archery opportunities in Dec and Jan. There are also some draw hunts for rifle Coues deer earlier in Dec, but many require several points for a guaranteed draw.

Thanks! I have thought about AZ and it's not out of the question, however it is a really far drive coming from Wisconsin.

Try Idaho. Used to hunt it many years ago and it was great but that was pre-wolf.
