We are to arrive at Shiloh a week from today. We are excited for another great time. 6 of us with one newbie to Shiloh. I will try to keep you posted while we are there. It has been a little while since the last deer hit the ground and a little over a month until we are chasing Javelina's. It is time for some hogs to fill the gap.

We are planning on hunting in shorts and flip flops. I lived in Alaska for 8 years. LOL. We will be ready for whatever the weather.

A lot of OK is going to be below zero this weekend and first part of next week. As cold as it gets in OK and the humidity there always makes it feel colder.

We leave in 2 days to head that way. We got 5.5 inches of snow yesterday with more in the forecast for tomorrow. I'm not to concerned about the roads here in Missouri but Oklahoma is not known for snow removal equipment. Any of you Okies have a report for 44 and 377 south to Shiloh? THANKS

Someone will be able to give you a better idea after tomorrow, as we have more snow coming this afternoon. It's flat out -15 degrees at our house so far this morning, just west of Shiloh. I don't even want to know what the wind chill is! The hogs are sure hitting the feeders here at our house, so I'm sure you'll have a great hunt.

We had another great time at Shiloh. It was fun hunting hogs in the snow. It was easy to see them. They hammered the feeders. There were a lot of hogs. Thursday evening I saw somewhere around 80 at Rattlesnake. Our first 6 hogs averaged above 170, then we went to shooting some meat hogs. Tanner beat me on the smallest 22lbs. Jeff shot the biggest, a 218 lb sow.

If you are hunting at Shiloh and find a phone on the road around the hay bale before you get to 4 it would be mine. I'd love to have the sim card. We looked quite a while but no sign in the snow. Les knows about it. Anyone could kill a hog there, but find a phone that will take a real hunter. Happy hunting!
