Seam seal new tent?

Do you guys seal your seems on new tents? In this case it is a hillerberg Atko.

Yes. Mixture of 2 ingredients. I used silicone from a squeeze tube and a solvent (turpentine?) Made a paste and applied to pitched tent. I think the solvent I'm having trouble remembering is listed on Kifaru website.

Yes. REI sells a sealant called Seam Grip that works really well.

Clear RTV silicone sealer and mineral spirits. Mix just enough mineral spirits to liquify the silicone and then brush it along the seams with a small brush. You can also paint some lines across the inside of your floor which will help keep your pad from sliding around so much.

Some commercially made seam sealers don't work with/aren't recommended for silnylon tents.

Yes, I'm a big fan of snoseal. I have a shitty coleman 40$ tent. Hasn't leaked with snoseal
