I was going to go in April and incorporate a week at Pyramid lake to catch giant cutthroats. Can't go now since wifey and I will be fishing our way across Montana and Wyoming.

The convention will occur in July in Reno.
The judges panel was completed in Reno the last week of February and 118 animals were verified.....some very impressive animals will be displayed.

Definitely a bummer! Was looking forward to chasing some Cali turkeys before the convention.
Now I’m rethinking about going in July. Not sure if I want to chance possibly meeting up with Dr Kevorkian in a dark hallway!

It's a bummer the dates got changed but so many things were effected by the virus. I drove to Reno awhile back & Roy was nice enough to panel score a couple elk for me. I got a sneak peak at some of the invited animals & lots of great critters will be on display. I'm going to do all I can to attend the convention & hope P & Y has a decent turn out. Have to give Roy & the others kudos for just making the convention happen with all else that we are facing these days!

Question: the PBS council was in Reno this weekend at the same hotel/casino that P&Y uses, planning our March 2022 Banquet there. What is there to do nearby for members who arrive early or stay afterwards, besides the gambling? We took a drive to Lake Tahoe yesterday and that was cool, but I am sure some members will want to do more than that.

Really was looking forward to attending the Reno Convention, but July doesn’t work. My wife and I will be leaving on July 10th for South Africa which was postponed from last July 2020.

Virginia City is a pretty cool day trip. Did it a few years ago and looking forward to it again. Oldest tavern in Nevada is just down the road too. Have the Mrs’ bring an extra bra.

Was planning on going and I've actually got an invite to have my Coues buck panel scored bc it ranks in the top 10 nontypical for velvet entries. I could have dropped the head off in Chatfield but they are closing the headquarters or already have. I'm afraid with everything being so up in the air I'm going to have to pass, unfortunately!
