A pic without a story and more details isn't going to cut it on a special animal like that! Congrats.

Tough critter to hunt with bow, congrats! Looks like west TX? And agreed...need to share more than just a pic LOL.

Palo Duro cayon rim. Trails are easy to find because of all the snow and rain they have got here. Cut a blind into a cedar tree and waited for them to come buy. Passed a few small rams. Shot this guy at 18 yards. Vortex SS125.

Hey Forest, what a great way to spent some hunting time and after an animal that most will never have eyes on or even get to hunt. An adventure hunt for sure. Nicely done. My best, Paul PS, where is your dog?

Nice Aoudad Sheep Forrest
Tough animal with a bow. You did it the right way. Guided for them for decades and the sit and wait method was by far and away the most successful with the old bow and arrow

Where I hunted them on public land in NM you could possibly sit for 60 days and not have a sheep in range. We had to cover tons of ground and glass for days to find them.
As stated earlier an Auodad with a bow is an accomplishment

Yea. If you know where they are and where they are going it's a huge advantage

Probably the hardest to hunt and definitely the best looking exotic! And one I'd love to hunt. Congrats on a tough job and beautiful trophy!

I've found Barbary (Aoudad) to be tough as a board. I grind it all, but it's tasty.

It's not bad. I liked the med better than Medium rare. This was fresh and the best cut and still is average I would say. I think the green egg could make anything tasty.

Not to bad. Kind of like charming or romantic when you are talking about a bed and breakfast -- not staying there again. LOL !! I could never get my dog to eat Aoudad
We killed hundreds of them back in the day. Really an awesome animal to hunt. Tableware was not so great
