What broadhead are you using?
Turkey

I've killed a bunch of turkeys with Jak-Hammers and, in recent seasons, have been using Spitfire Maxx with good results. This year, I ordered a pack of the Vortex 2.75" cut, 125 gr. broadheads to try.
What's everyone else using?
Bullheads 100grain, with a couple of expandables in the quiver for the longer shots. I bought a bunch of Spitfire 2 blades, that were super cheap on sale last spring, from Midway USA. Gonna give them a go this year. Killed a pile of birds over the years with Vortex heads similar to the ones you’re going with this year, Nick.
That Vortex looks great. I use Bullhead 125 (I shoot 125 weight for all my BH, but really appreciate the larger cutting diameter of the Bullhead 125 vs 100).
Tuffhead Meatheads out of my recurve. My neighbor and good friend owns the company and makes them right across the road form my house so I'm kinda partial to them.
Best of luck on those gobblers!
Not arguing… Just asking.
It was always my understanding that the challenge with turkeys was getting adequate penetration, and it seems like that head would set you up to have to cut through an off a lot of quills to get through to anything that really matters. Do those somehow delay opening just enough?
I think if I were going to go for it myself, I would most likely go with the guillotine style head, because my favorite type of target is some thing like an old arrowshaft or a bamboo garden stake stuck in the ground. Or maybe just an Ace super-express to open up more shot opportunities.... they’re big, but should penetrate a whole lot better, especially on a fan-side shot....
Had great luck with the Vortex 2.75 over the years. I am just too cheap to pay for them now when I can find serviceable heads considerably cheaper. I using Spitfire XXX this year.
Rocket hammer head, 3 blade 2 inches open. Was shooting my old bow at 415 gr @ 298fps and mostly got a pass-through. New bow bowtech revolt, same arrow,, shoots good,,, but a little slower.. So we will see. Ed
Vortex 125 gr. 2 3/4" just like the one picked by the OP. Deadly.
Fixed, Magnus Serazors, 125 grain. They’ve killed quite a few for me.
This year Im using Ironwill Wide 200 grains. Last season I used the 200 grain Grizzlystik Silverflame
Bullhead 125s, with some big Dead Ringer mechs for backup. I sure like head shooting those rascals.
killed over 60 turkeys and 100 geese with these NAP `125 gr 3bld ShockWaves.
Remington 870 loaded with a 3”, #5 shot longbeard xr. It’s pretty dang deadly.
I believe in giving everyone a fair chance. Me included. That and I despise the idea of not covering ground while turkey hunting.
I'm with WV, Benelli SBE II with 3.5" Remington Nitro 4's. I've killed a couple with my bow and Steelhead 125 XL's, but love turkey hunting with my shotgun! For me, I just love hunting birds with my gun... but I only want my bow for any big game hunting. Good luck with your turkey hunts! Pete
Shot my birds last spring with the Black Widow Innovations px2. Before that, my last eight birds were killed with G5 Montecs.
Wasp Jak-Hammers 1 3/4 inch cut.
These are killers! Rage Turkey Extreme
I use the same head o hunt deer and elk with. Always seems to perform well.
Rocket hammerhead .
But I have killed a lot with that vortex but the price is to high compared to the rockets.
Also some 200 grain 1-1/4” VPA.
C.O.C.....................125G Solid Mechanical...........125G Vortex Steel
Just like with everything else, Muzzy 3 blade or Wasp Cam-locs..
Zwickey Deltas or No Mercy
NAP Kill Zone. Same as last year.
Zwickey Deltas or No Mercy
Wife and I used nothing but zwickey for 40+ years.
Wasp Havalon. I’m thinking about trying jackhammers for turkeys.
