It feels like a solid well built bow. I got it thinking I'd give it to my dad and get him back into archery but I'm really considering keeping it for myself and using it instead of my bowtech convergence. My bowtech feels like it would snap into pieces if I dropped it from a tree but this bear could take 20ft falls all day everyday. Also I really like the grip

Wow I'm shocked the msrp was only $400. It feels so much more solid then my $600 convergence

BigDan hunted or should I say killed a lot of elk with an Instinct I bought a close out at Bear for I think 200 bucks still have it.A very solid bow I’m mostly shooting an Elite Senergy after shoulder surgery.Good luck Lewis

I used to have one as well. Never had any complaints. It was a good shooting bow.

Just surprised me because the bowtech a have feels like after a few years of uses I'll have to glue it back together and this bear feels like it would last forever.
