I’m trying to set up a permanent outdoor archery range at my lodge. I get tired of targets getting weathered, or having to set a target out each time we shoot. I would like to have several targets set at various distances that are protected from the sun and rain while being somewhat permanent. If anyone has photos of what you have done I’d love to see them.

I'm going to build something similar to this.

Thanks! That’s exactly what I am looking for. I’m still open to other ideas too though.

Layered foam with ratchet straps to compress it tight and pin targets to... 4 x 4 posts with a roof on it ...

A box made out of treated 2x4's, covered with carpeting with the backing out, stuffed with shrink rap and poly and a piece of steel siding for a cover. It's very durable, carpet last a long time, stuffing lasts almost forever and you can shoot at all 4 sides. Surprisingly light too.

That's a dang nice looking set-up J-----61.
Those lil Lifesize targets are the bomb!
I like my elk one.
Good luck, Robb

Thanks for all the input. This is the first of three we are building. Going to modify dimensions a little on the next one.

Used this to practice for my lion hunt. Attached to rope and ran through a pulley.
