So I recall a time years ago when my Dad seemed to slow down a bit in his hunting life. He would say “well son, I’ve got you trained up now so I just enjoy living through your hunting exploits.” I’m not there yet but I’m beginning to understand a little better. There’s a pretty good back story to this gobbler and Andrew handled it perfectly at every turn. 19 lbs, 9” beard, 1 1/8” spurs. Another amazing day in God’s Great Outdoors ~

Thanks guys and thanks T.P. for noticing the picture. I’m kind of over the top about pics. I took 71 shots to get that pic and what you don’t see is the fishing line tied to his right wing to hold it out and a piece of a coat hanger clipped on the back of his fan to keep it spread out, lol. Congrats. It is a lot of fun having our kids be hunters, with us. I’m lucky in that my son is an avid bow hunter and we get to hunt together quite a bit. Great pic, also.
