Anyone know the current Covid restrictions on traveling to Australia?

Last I heard it was essentially a 100% no go, but I could be out of date on my info.

Australia locked down tighter than a bear baiting drum right now. They just allowed travel between NZ and Aus. Australians have been told travel they are not allowed out of country until minimum end of 2021.

One of my daughters lives in Australia....it's locked down. I wouldn't want to live there under those conditions.

I'm supposed to be there with Karl Goodhand right now. I'm hoping for 2022. Good time to start shopping for a trip, but I wouldn't throw down a significant deposit any time soon. Some of these guys will simply not be around by the time the travel reopens.

Hey John I’ve sent you a PM.
Australia is closed for international travellers apart from New Zealanders. We have next to nothing for covid cases here and life is very normal apart from the entry and exit of the country.
As for when our government will open the borders again I have no idea. The difference in how Australia handled the pandemic versus how USA handled it is chalk and cheese so who knows what will happen. I’m hoping by April 2022 things will go back to some sort of normality so I can go back to doing the job I love to do.

Thanks T Roy. I hope you are doing well also. I’m happy and healthy. Got married last week too! Life is good apart from Not doing my normal job guiding in Australia and Canada. I had to cut costs with my business and with No hunts I retracted my sponsorship with Bowsite as well as other advertising avenues. I reallyOnly ran my Annual thread and with no clients it didn’t make sense. So that’s why I have not been so active here. We got word last week that Travel restrictions could be around here until as late as 2024 which is pretty disheartening.

Saw that story, I'm skeptical that it will be that long, but I will still go if it is. Just need to find another trip in the mean time.
