Starting Pt. for 16D NM Sept. hunt.

Drew a 16d tag. Never hunted in the Gila before. Mainly hunted in Northern NM. Any info on where to start in 16D? I will put my effort in on he ground but I just don’t know where ti begin. If anyone drew a 2B January mule deer I can trade info. I missed an absolute giant last year. I would find him every morning in the same spot bedded. Just couldn’t seal the deal. It doesn’t do me any good to keep a good spot a secret. I don’t guide and We all can’t draw a 2B or 16D every year so if I can help a fellow DIY hunter out. I’m all for it.
