Carcus and I are back for another "The Bear Hunting Project - 2021!"
I sure hope Noah doesn’t show you guys up again! ;-) Good luck!
Cool. Look forward to this one!
Thanks, hoping to get up there Monday. Noah's up first, but hopefully he will want a little one this time!
This will be another great one!
Can't wait to see what Noah kills this year! Good luck fellas!
Pictures, pictures, pictures....:)
Very cool David! Wish both of you much success! I so much miss being in MB at this time of year!
Good luck guys. I really miss hunting in Canada.
It’s threads like this that give us hope.
Thanks! Noah and I are headed up on Monday for a couple days. He's shooting great with his Iron Wills and I'll be using Sevrs for mine. Looking forward to it!
David, not nice to toot your horn about Manitoba bear hunting while we are stuck down here at year two of NO BEAR HUNTING IN CANADA for us U.S. folks.
Congrats on a great bear Noah! Some awesome footage.
Congratulations, His smile says it all
Nice bear! Did the other ever show back up on any baits?

Shiras, I don't know if it ever came back. I don't have trail cameras on this bait. I can tell you it did not die. Hopefully we can get it next year, will be even bigger!
I got this ancient bear the other day. I'll do a write-up later on about our spring season, it was quite the season for all involved.
Excellent David. Great story telling, set up, music and bear.
You guys are gonna hafta up your game, if you’re gonna keep up with Noah!! Congrats on your bear, Noah!
Congrats as well, David! Great videos! Would you consider Noah’s shot placement on the bear he killed, perfect, or would it be better to be more to the right?
Thanks guys, we are leaving for a few days to do some family time and fishing, but to quickly answer your question T-r.oy. Yes, I agree to the right would be better. Noah was concerned about the tree, and being a new bowhunter is still learning how close he can aim by objects, such as that tree. I guess it's learning to trust your shot as well. I don't mind MOTM just don't shoot them in the guts, hit ribs and you'll get your bear.
My shot entered at the 4th last rib and exited just behind the last one. He was walking through and simply looking for sows. That's why I like a big mechanicals for bears, soft skinned for the most part.
Thanks David. I’m still a bit of a novice on bears. Only 2 so far, so trying to garner as much good info as possible on them.
T-roy you're off to a great start as far as bears go!
David, another killer vid. Your content has always been awesome!
Thanks Eric, you've been very supportive from the beginning!
T-roy, you a rookie bear hunter? That made me laugh, I think your doing just fine! :)
