Annual Spring Bear Trip Done

Just back from our annual spring bear hunt and it was a blast as always. Due to covid restrictions we had a smaller crew but still big on fun. We had to chase a decent grizzly out of camp twice on the first evening. A pack of wolves raided our meat cache with the meat of five bears in it. Three of them paid with their lives. Saw six adult grizzlies and two were absolute tanks!
The snow pack was deep, but soft from the warm weather and the bears are still lazy. Our strategy was to stalk them and if they blew out we'd follow until they were next to a big tree. Then we'd rush them, yelling and about one out of four times they'd tree. Out of eight bears, I think we shot five out of trees.
I forgot my camera so all the pics are on my phone and I'm missing one or two of the bears. I'll have to post the pics one at a time because of whatever glitch that is that won't allow rotating more than one per post.

My luck would be after I chased a blacky up a tree a grizz would show up and I'd be in the tree with the blacky! Great pictures, thanks for sharing!!
