@Pop-r it was $5,500. @Overland aside from the fact that Jim does exceptional work (I'll never have anyone other than Jim mount my animals) he's also a damn good dude. After a handful of interactions it was like talking to an old friend.

Like others have said... it’s hard to get cats “right”. It’s usually the eyes (distance and appearance), that looks great!

We've all seen the bobcat, mountain lion mounts that look fake, crooked and just weird. That close up of the face with eyes glowing might be the best taxidermy picture I've ever seen. Congratulations on a successful hunt and especially on a successful mount!

That is an amazing job on the face. Probably the best eyes I’ve ever seen on a mount. I have actually been within a few of two lions when they snarled/ hissed where they open their mouth wide like that and expelled air. That mount is perfect. Awesome, awesome job!
