Porkapalooza 15 will be June 10-12. Yep, it's happening this week. Lots of veteran Bowsiters such as Hunt4Life, Boothill, Ahunter35, Skeptic, and Buffalo. I'll try to do a live hunt if I get reception (tree cover hurts in the summer and AT&T needs to boost their signal). At the worst, I'll do a recap at night. So if you're stuck in the office or work, tune in on Thursday afternoon and I hope we can entertain. Cheers! Hamicus Procurus
We want to see some wet hogs hanging
Ahunter55, ummm, I didn't know I was going Mike.. Enjoy, have a great hunt & for sure awesome campfire gathering (lies of course).. How bout a 2011 flashback photo of the "originals".
At some point I have to make one of these! Good luck Mike can't wait to see the live updates!!
Have fun guys!
Sorry John, Is Curt Ahunter35? Bou, I'm hoping the hogs are dry! Pork 16 is in the works. More details after Pork 15. Hint: We might run 2 hunts back-to-back so more folks have an opportunity at the Porkapalooza.
Save some for the rest of us. I am meeting up with some friends that I haven't seen in a while the weekend after you guys finish up.

Yes, I have this bad habit of arranging a crowd and thus, missing the Porkapalooza. Did it again this year....another long hunt in December. I'm not complaining.
Bad Karma, Always great to have you in camp or slip in on one of your hunts.
Yes, hes 35. My son went for the 1st time last Jan with 5 of his buddies. They are making this "their" Pork gathering.. Hope you have a great hunt.. I did go with my son in Jan..
What, no update or live hunt information.. That's a first.. Hope everyone is having a good time..
You guys are dealing with some nasty weather.
Pretty quiet Palooza. Bad weather, no cell service??? Hope you all had a fun time.
Where’s the pork?????
I’m going slay some soon!
Get em, Corey.
Good luck guys !

Well, how did y'all do?
I know a couple of my friends that were on this hunt took nice hogs. They sent via my FB page. Surprised no info...
Sorry, guys, phone reception was poor down there and I had shoulder surgery this morning. Hot and exceptionally humid. Typing left-handed.
Even with a bad back, Les still managed to help out and knap a few arrowheads.
Our annual Pork picture.
Sorry to hear avbout your surgery Mik.. What kinda ratio hunters attending & pork on the ground?? In Jan my kids group was 6 = 5 piggies 2 misses. Take care.
10 hunters took home 7 hogs plus Curt shot one at night with his rifle.
Travis, the Iowa guys had a funny story about rolling into camp but I will let them expound upon that.
Where are your bigger brothers?
Curt Shaw brought in the first hog.
No hogs killed the first night but Curt was the first hunter to bring in a hog Friday morning. After a great fish fry (compliments of Les & April), I found a hog near the creek and put a nice stalk and shot. Hog weighed 127 lbs.
Brian Tabor also scored on a 220 pounder. Kory Brink did it the hard way.
Kory also scored on a second hog.
With Les down, April stepped in and helped with fetching hogs.
And off we rode to pick up my second spot & stalk hog.
Jimi Bouma from Iowa scored.
So how hot was it?
Greg Duncan, Buffalo1 also scored on a great hog as well. A few other folks connected on hogs but they got away. Jon, Linda, Grant, and Rylee Holmes are awesome hosts. Les and April Frodsham worked hard to keep the hunters happy, Looking forward to Pork 16.
Temps were in the mid-90s but the humidity was really high and the heat index went triple digits. Saturday we had a big rain in the morning and after it passed, temps were comfortable and I was out the door sp. Hog ran only 5 yards spotting and stalking. The first hog spotted was snoozing in a shady, shallow ravine close to where I shot a nice hog the year before. I got about 16 yards away before dropping.

Looks like another good time! Saw that one was taken at night with a rifle. Are they still doing night hunts with thermal?
Matt & Cheryl, That was a deal between Curt and John. Sorry but I don't know what arrangements they had.
