I’m looking for a reliable digital scale. What model would you recommend?

I just bought one from Harbor Freight. Cen Tech 1000. It was like $11. They have others too. It works up to 1000 grains.

Mine is a Franklin Arsenal unit that I also use for reloading rifle and pistol ammo. Works fine.

RCBS scale here too. Don’t need a bunch of stuff on the bench doing the same thing.

I use a Lyman reloading scale. Works great. Believe it cost about $65.

I’ve been using a US-Magnum digital scale that I picked up at Cabelas several years ago. Very pleased with it.

I have RCBS scales and a digital scale I bought off Amazon. Both work well.

As others, my RCBS scale can't be beat. All I did was take my Dremel grinder and "groove" the pan so I could balance an arrow on it.

Cornpone………I customized my pan with a piece tinfoil…

Thanks t-roy… tinfoil it is; never thought of that. Of course the old standbys baling wire & duct tape came to mind many times... but, tinfoil, ingenious.

T-roy what do you use for you hat if you are putting your tinfoil on your scale.

John…I DID notice that after I borrowed a piece of foil off of one of my hats, I started viewing various topics in a different light. Hell…..I even caught myself agreeing with Thornton on a couple of things!
