Kicked off another safari yesterday…Seven Kentuckians for seven buffalo. Dropped this beast today to begin the hunt. What a beast!!! A tremendous Cape Buffalo.

Nobody's "hating other hunters", I hunt with guns myself. It's just that the Bowsite use to be for bow hunting. I guess that's changed. TMBB

That rifle was built on a 120 year old frame in .475 Turnbull. Ammo was hand loaded fairly hot. 350 grain bullets also custom made. Perfect shot dropped the bull in less than 50 yards. It’s a beautiful rifle.

Buffalo #7 hit the salt today…initially wounded yesterday and after tracking a combined 13 miles from yesterday and today, our fearless tracking dog found and bayed the beast allowing us to move in and finish the job. Well done Hunt Africa Team! Another great bull down and this old boy topped out at 42 4/8”.
