Was up in 201 doing some scouting & got pictures of a couple elk if you would like to see & maybe estimate a score. The one on the right in the first set.

320s. For that unit with a OIL tag I would look for the next level unless you don't find a bigger one to hunt.
FYI, when we hunted 2 we got a lot of photos of different bulls in that range, all summer. We were sort of lowering our expectations, and then two big ones showed up in the first week of September. So we killed them.

Wish the first bull was a 6x6, that would help. The second bull is a 6x6, wish I got a clearer view of him. We saw a group of 12 bulls, several larger than the 1st bull, but never got close enough for pics.

That last bulls left antler has an old pedicle injury and a slightly mutated antler on that side. I love that stuff and would kill him in a sec, others may disagree....
My current dream bull is one of those real "club" bulls, with a 9lb. hammer hanging down vertical off the side of his head, with another ugly chunk going up at a different angle. The other side is a perfect 6 or 7 and if he matched, would be like a 370. Yup, thats what I would like to kill.

Ki-ke, I saw an exact specimen of that in unit 2.

I saw a bull in unit 10 with a perfect 7 on one side and an approx. 40 inch sword on the other. I had him under 20 yards and didn't even consider shooting. We've all got different ideas of what we're looking for I guess.
