Thanks Tavis, I saw the pic you posted of your buck from last year. That's a pretty buck, congrats. Did you get him scored? A friend of mine, who you know too (JSW) also drew the tag so we should have a good time up there.

Water is scarce and the antelope are struggling to find any water they can get to. Having to go deep into the mud to drink.

Good luck to those after these critters this year. My last was 2019 & water everywhere so my hunt was pretty much a bust(bad knees & old so S&S was out for me). It was my sons 1st trip & he arrowed a nice Buck the 3rd day & my other 2 buddies got good Bucks 4th & 5th days. Low numbers & spot n stalk but they put it together. Again, Good Luck to all. Great photos too.

It is a pop up blind then I put 5 t post on corners then put tie wire around it so I can weave brush through it.

This is the view of what the antelope will see approaching the water hole. Blind is on left of big cottonwood. I’ve never had much luck just setting up a blind as it comes out of the box.

If set up a week before the season, brushing in might not be needed. Killed pronghorn from both of these setups..

Same as you Stryk, the ones I've been around are definitely and rightfully suspicious of pop up with nothing else. Seem to do better when I cover with burlap like in my photo. Hopefully they'll just consider it oilfield trash.

I’m sitting on the sidelines this year as I didn’t draw an antelope tag again which makes it 3 years in a row. The upside is I’m helping a fellow Bowsite member to try and help him take his first P/Y antelope I’m sure if successful he’ll have pictures and story to tell and I’ll leave that to him to tell. I enjoy the prep as much as the hunt so glad I could help him out.
