No tips for transporting them, but I paint the top of the steps (where you place your foot) white. Makes it WAY easier to be able to see them when getting out of the tree in the evening.

I sometimes use my Badlands 2200 pack and put the sticks in the batwings and strap the stand to the back. I also added backpack shoulder straps and a hip belt to my Lone Wolf Assault and strap the sticks to the stand using Arno straps.

Mystery Ranch Pop up packs are the absolute best stand carriers. Makes life a whole lot easier. MR Pop up 18 or they have a bigger one. I have the 18.

I have the plastic "clips" from lone wolf that snap to the stand and hold 4 climbing sticks. The system works well for me although I'm not a run and gun type of hunter. Check out the LW site, They sell the entire system as a package.

I've got the clips too, don't really care for them...
