Ivories… or lack of!
I’m writing this on the road after a 12 mile pack out… brutal! Ventured out of my norm and tried a new area. Classic scenario… located this bull with a locator bugle, got downwind, threw out a couple cow calls and he came on a rope from about 400 yards away, culminating in a 25 yard shot. The Rage Trypan was absolutely devastating. This is possibly the oldest bull I’ve killed. I initially thought his ivories were missing but they were literally worn to the gums! To top it off, we noticed he had a hole in his forehead from fighting. I may never walk normally again but it was the best 18 hour day I’ve ever put in!
